How to Create a PhonePe Account and Link Your Bank for UPI Payments?

PhonePe is a widely used UPI-based app that enables seamless digital payments. Follow these simple steps to create a PhonePe account and link your bank for hassle-free UPI transactions.

1. Download and Install PhonePe
   Download the PhonePe app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Once installed, open the app and allow necessary permissions like contacts, SMS, and location.


2. Sign Up on PhonePe
   Enter your mobile number registered with your bank account. Verify the number using the OTP sent to your phone. Set up a secure 4-digit PIN for logging into PhonePe.


3. Add Your Bank Account
   From the home screen, tap on "My Money" or "Bank Accounts." Select “Add New Bank Account.” PhonePe will fetch the bank linked to your registered mobile number automatically.


4. Set Up UPI PIN
   If you’re a first-time user, create a UPI PIN. Enter your debit card details (last 6 digits and expiry date) and verify it with the OTP. Confirm your UPI PIN for future transactions.


5. Start Using PhonePe
   Once linked, you can send money, pay bills, and make online purchases directly through PhonePe.
